For a proper understanding of Justification And regeneration we must begin where the bible does and that is with “Sin”
All sin flows from man’s perverse desire to put himself in the place of God to be the center and measure of all things and to know for himself what is good and what is evil
Titus 3:3-7
3 For we ourselves also “were” sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the holy Ghost;
6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
we were in our natural state “foolish. disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
AND LOST MAN IMAGINE THEMSELVES TO BE ” BASICALLY GOOD”
But it take God in is mercy to reveal to us the true CONDITION of their blackened hearts
Sin is the problem it is my it is your problem and it is the world’s problem
Isaiah 53:6

No Race or nationality likewise offer no immunity from sin
2 corinthians 4:4
4 in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Jesus said John 5:40

ALL BECAUSE OF SIN
Because the “will” is corrupted the “emotions” are disturbed and perverted hearts with constant anger and hatred
others are tormented day and night by fears
others burst into tears for no apparent reason
this is all because of sin
sin is not reasonable
Hebrews 12:16
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as E’sau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
a momen’t reflection on the sins of our own past is enough to confirm that none of them makes any sense
E’sau sold his birthright for “one” morsel of meat
marriage and family are thrown away for one night of pleasure
there is no wise sin
sin is deceitful
Hebrews 3:13
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
All deception
the victim is unaware of his deceived state
Revelation 3:17
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
people thinks that he is “rich” and has become wealthy and has need of nothing
but in reality “wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked
Romans 1:22

HARDENING
one of the most fearful thing about sin is it’s power to harden the one who practices it (sin)
the deep a man goes in sin the less sin bothers him
1 timothy 4:2
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron
SIN ENSLAVING
sin enslaves those who practice it
Jesus said in John 8:34
34 Jesus answered them, verily, verily i say unto you whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
no one can free himself or escape from sin’s bondage sin “reigns” over the sinner and rides on his back until it eventually brings him down to the pit of destruction and death
SIN IS DEBASING
sin sinks the highest and noblest of man and women to the depths of shame and degradation all because of sin
the young man who once wore a fine suit and sat in a leather office chair now lies unshaven in his own vomit as a result of sin
young girl who was once clean and beautiful and innocent is now cheap and sensual and dirty again because of sin
sin turned angels into demons
sin is not cute nor funny
sin is exceedingly wicked and perverse it is utterly sinful All sin is twisted and ugly
the internal problem
A BAD HEART
Jesus said man himself is corrupt and vile
Jesus said Mark 7:20-23
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.
21 For from within, out of the heart of man, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.
this is the condition of every human heart, apart from Christ.
suppose that the sinner said that he would never sin again for the rest of his life and the murderer said that I would not murder again
would they still go to hell
yes they would Just because they change there mind it still don’t change his heart
Just because they have clean up there life and now live a good moral life it still don’t change the heart God wrath will be “poured out” he is a righteous judge and will not allow sin to go unpunished forever.
remember what Paul said in Titus 3:4-6

JUSTIFIED MEANS TO ”DECLARE RIGHTEOUS”
He declares that sinner righteous in the sight of the law
JUSTIFICATION IS RECEIVED BY FAITH
REGENERATION MEANS IT IS A NEW CREATION
SO HOW CAN MANKIND HAVE THIS SALVATION
Romans 10:9-11
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
11 for the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
that’s How you get Saved
the Regeneration start at that very moment
2 corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
